Transportation at Daunne of Nawalpur has been disrupted due to road subsidence last night.
Only one-way traffic is allowed at Daunne section along the East-West Highway in order to repair the road that caved in.
The road would be partially operative till 1:00pm today, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Bed Bahadur Paudel. It would be repaired till then.
DSP Paudel further said the road collapsed at Daunne of Binay Triveni rural municipality-2. The maintenance works would be carried out to prevent further damage.
The vehicles using this road section are urged to adopt alternative route till the completion of maintenance.
