Trishuli (Nuwakot), Aug 26: Flood in the Bhotekoshi River from Rasuwa has swept away around 60 houses surrounding Trishuli Bazaar in Nuwakot. Devighat area has also been affected by the flood.
Chief District Officer of Nuwakot, Shambhu Prasad Regmi, shared that no human causalities has been reported so far as the locals residing in areas close to the Trishuli River evacuated to safer places soon after getting early information of flood.
Some houses in Trishuli Bazaar and two motorable bridges over Trishuli River were also swept away by the flood.
Similarly, the flood has also damaged Trishuli and Devighat hydropower projects as well as swept away three blocks and sub-station of 25-MW Solar Power Plant.
