Fugitive Involved In The Fake Bhutanese Refugee Case Arrested

Kathmandu, Oct 5: A team from the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office has arrested Sandesh Sharma. Sharma who hails from Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-16, Dang was the fugitive defendant in the fake Bhutanese refugee case.

Superintendent of Police Kaji Kumar Acharya, the spokesperson at the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, said that Sharma was arrested from Lalitpur and sent to prison.

Sharma had escaped from Nakkhu Prison during the jail break occurred in course of the Gen-Z movement on 8-9 September and had been on the run.
