Karnali, July 27: A man has been arrested on the charge of murdering his wife in Surkhet.
Forty-two-year-old Dansingh Thadamagar of Birendranagar Municipality-13 was arrested for killing his 41-year-old wife Rabina.
He reportedly beat her to death with a wooden plank while she was asleep last night, said District Police Office spokesperson Mohan Jung Budthapa.
Rabina was found dead by police after locals informed the police station in Kaherkhola about the incident and took Thadamagara under control.
The District Police Office has stated that further investigation into the incident is underway.
