Baitadi, Dec 7: An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale happened in Darchula district.
The earthquake occurred at 8:28 am today with its epicenter near Ghusa area of Apihimal Rural Municipality in Darchula district, according to Chief of the Surkhet-based National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre Chintan Timilsina.
The earthquake was felt in the neighbouring districts of Darchula, Baitadi and others, it is said.
