
Chandra Prasad Dhakal, President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Honorary Consul of Indonesia to Nepal, has received the prestigious Caraka Buwana Award from the Indonesian government for his significant contributions to strengthening Nepal-Indonesia relations.
The Caraka Buwana Award, presented by Indonesia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, honors individuals who have made significant contributions to bilateral relations with Indonesia. The award was handed over by Indonesia's Ambassador to Nepal, Heru H. Subolo.
Dhakal expressed gratitude for the honor and emphasized that the recognition serves as motivation to continue working towards a future of mutual growth and prosperity.
He was previously recognized by the Indonesian government for his humanitarian efforts during Nepal’s 2015 earthquake.
Dhakal, serving as Honorary Consul since 2010, continues to play a pivotal role in fostering Nepal-Indonesia relations.
