Jhapa, Aug 21: Vegetables worth Rs 98.4 million were exported to India, Bangladesh and America via Kakadbhitta checkpoint in one year.
Plant Quarantine Office, Kakadbhitta, shared that 6,519 metric tonnes of vegetables-- cabbage, bean and green chilies were exported in the fiscal year 2025/26.
Country received Rs 94.7 million from exporting 6,201 metric tonnes of cabbage, Rs 176,000 from exporting green chilies and Rs 117,000 from exporting tomatoes to Bangladesh during the period.
Similarly, 260 metric tonnes of beans were exported to America and Nepal received Rs 599,000 from it.
