A man has been charged of beating his wife to death. Habib Nadaf,45, of Sonukhada village in Mahottari rural municipality-1 beat his wife to death, according to Superintendent of Police Nakul Pokharel of District Police Office.
Nadaf has been charged of beating his 36-year-old wife Roshana Khatun to death over a domestic dispute. The incident took place on Saturday and police have suspected that she died due to lack of timely treatment.
The body has been sent to Jaleshwar Regional Hospital for a post-mortem.
Meanwhile, the police are looking for the alleged murderer husband who absconded after the fatal incident.
