Kathmandu, Aug 31: Electricity service, which was disrupted at different areas in Rasuwa district due to the August 26 Bhotekoshi flash flood, has been restored.
According to the Nepal Electricity Authority, the power supply in most of the areas of Kalika and Naukunda rural municipalities has been resumed.
Similarly, electricity service has been restored at Dhunche, Bharkhu and Gosainkunda area. Authority's technical team has expedited repair and restoration task amidst adverse weather and challenging geographical territory after flood damaged electricity structures.
The Authority shared that it has been carrying out activities to restore power supply by mobilizing required number of human resources and equipment and other resources to resume power supply at remaining flood-hit areas at the earliest.
