
A massive flood has swept away the Thame region of the Solukhumbu this Friday afternoon.
According to Solukhumbu's Chief District Officer Devi Pande, there is no confirmation regarding the cause of the flood, whether it was due to Glacial Lake outburst, torrential rain or any other reason.
Authorities have informed that the security personnel have been mobilized for rescue efforts. More than 10 houses have been swept away, and at least five houses are about to be damaged in the region.
