The Salt Trading Corporation Limited has hiked the price of salt.
The Aayo Nun or iodized salt being sold out from the Corporation has gone up by Rs 3 per kilogramme. The new revised price will be effective from Wednesday, the Company said in a press statement.
With this, a packet of salt weighing a kg would cost Rs 26 from previously priced Rs 23, it was shared.
Similarly, the new price of salt named New Shakti has become Rs 20 from existing Rs 17 per kilogramme.
Likewise, Bhanu Nun is priced Rs 9 per kilogramme.
