Kathmandu, April 10: A parliamentary party meeting of the governing Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to vote in favour of candidate of Shram Sanskriti Party, Rubi Kumari Thakur, to the post of Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The meeting held at Singha Durbar today took the decision to cast vote to Thakur. Ashok Kumar Chaudhary has seconded the proposal.
Shram Sanskriti Party's Thakur and Saraswoti Lama of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have filed nomination to the post of Deputy Speaker. The election to the post of Deputy Speaker is taking place today.
