The first hearing on a petition lodged against cricketer Sandip Lamichhane on a rape charge is taking place at the Supreme Court, today.
The Office of the Attorney General had lodged a petition with the Supreme Court, demanding to revoke Patan High Court's order to release Lamichhane on provisional bail.
The Attorney General's Office has demanded that Lamichhane be held in judicial custody during his trial.
