
The Sarlahi District Court convicted ascetic Ram Bahadur Bamjan, better known as Little Buddha, in child sexual abuse case.
On Monday, District Judge Jeevan Kumar Bhandari found Bamjan guilty in the case. The court will determine his sentence on Asar 17.
Bamjan was arrested on Poush 24 at his home in Budhanilkanth, Kathmandu, after a complaint was lodged with the District Police Office in Sarlahi.
He was accused of luring young ladies, sexually assaulting, kidnapping, and raping them.
Bamjan is a permanent resident of Nijgadh Municipality-12 in Ratanpuri, Bara.
