The Office of the Attorney General has reached Supreme Court against the order of High Court to release cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane on provisional bail.
On Tuesday, the Office has filed a petition at the Supreme Court demanding of annulment of High Court’s order to release Lamichhane on bail and to held him in judicial custody for the trial.
Former Captain of national cricket team Lamichhane has been accused of raping a minor.
Patan High Court issued the order to release of Lamichhane from custody on a bail of 2 million on January 12.
