Kathmandu, July 8: The Special Court has allowed the police to keep in detention Vice Chairman of the CPN UML, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, for five more days in connection with a case relating to money laundering.
A division bench of judges Narayan Prasad Paudel and Bidur Koirala granted extension of detention for five days. The former Finance Minister remains in custody since he was arrested from Butwal on money laundering charges.
