The appeal against the order of the Kathmandu District Court to remand Sandeep Lamichhane, the former captain of the Nepali National Cricket Team, is being heard today.
Sandeep filed an appeal in the High Court against the district court's order to remand him in prison.
Lamichhane is in prison on charges of raping a minor. The victim has two birth certificates that have been submitted as evidence in court, which can establish her as an adult. The court also collected the evidence from the relevant office.
