Kathmandu, French Serial killer Charles Sobhraj has been taken to Tribhuvan International Airport for deportation to France.
The Department of Immigration has informed that French Serial killer Charles Sobhraj has been taken to TIA for deportation after he was released from jail earlier today after the order of the Supreme Court.
Department's Deputy Director General Pradarsani Kumari has said that Sobhraj is being sent to France by Qatar Airways.
After the jail term of 19 years and three months, Sobhraj was released from Central Jail Sundhara.
Sobhraj was sent to the Department of Immigration earlier today after being released from jail.
The SC verdict had asked the concerned authority to arrange for Sobharj to return to his country within 15 days on Wednesday.
Sobhraj had served jail terms for different crimes including murders.
