Kathmandu, Jan 3: An earthquake occurred with its epicenter near Falaincha in Taplejung district.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Lainchaur, a 4.6 magnitude earthquake occurred at 6:13 am this morning.
Earlier, an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred with its epicenter near Thoche in Manang district on December 14.
Being in the Himalayan region, Nepal has been frequently experiencing earthquakes of various magnitudes.
