Damak, Oct 25: A child died of snakebite at Shivasatakshi in Jhapa district on Friday evening.
A five-year-old son of Man Kumar Tamang from Shivasatakshi municipality-7 suffered snakebite while playing near his home.
The child fallen unconscious was rushed to Birta City Hospital, Birtamod and later to the Snakebite Treatment Centre of Nepali Army at Charaali, but he breathed his last on the way.
