
Birgunj (Parsa), Sept 21: Computers and other electronic equipment worth Rs 10 million were damaged in addition to the building of the Inland Revenue Office in Birgunj.
The Inland Revenue Office was set ablaze during the arson by anarchist groups in the pretext of the Gen-Z movement. An initial estimate shows that computers and other electronic equipment worth about Rs 10 million were damaged, said Rameshwor Kumar Mishra, Information Officer of the Inland Revenue Office.
The office computers, printers and other electronic equipment were burnt in the arson, and some were stolen. According to the office, most of the structures on the ground floor of the building have been damaged.
