Patan (Lalitpur), June 26: A flash flood occurred in a small stream at Mahankal Rural Municipality-6 Thuladurlung of Lalitpur took the life of sub-engineer Sabin Dahal.
The flood emerged in the stream located in the southeastern region of the district took his life.
According to Mahankal ward-6 chair Binod Chaulagain, the flood occurred in Bharyang stream on Wednesday evening swept away 21-year-old Sabin Dahal, a resident of Mahankal-4 Kaleshwar. He was currently residing in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-29 Harisiddhi.
'The flood evolved at around 7:30 pm had swept him away. We located his body at 10.00 pm during the search. All roads here are closed, and we have informed the Nepal Army to send helicopters for rescue', he said.
