The district administration has issued a curfew order after the Gen Z demonstration turned violent in Itahari, Sunsari.
According to Sunsari Chief District Officer Dharmendra Kumar Mishra, the curfew has been imposed from Milan Chowk of Itahari to Jute Bikas to the CIAA office in the east, Kalanki Chowk in the west, Halgada in the north, and Sathi Petrol Pump in the south to Bus Park.
The administration imposed the curfew after the enraged Gen Z protesters entered the Itahari sub-metropolitan office and started attacking.
After the protesters started a fire, employees and public representatives fled for their lives.
