Bhadgaun (Bhaktapur), July 24: Two teenage girls living in a rented quarter in Sintitar, Thimi Municipality-9, Madhyapur were found dead this morning.
Menuka Kandel, 17, and her sister Sirjana Kandel, 15, of Panchapuri Municipality-8, Surkhet were found hanging in the passage of the house that they were living in. They were living in the ground floor of a two-storey house owned by local Niraj Chakradhar, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Nawaraj Dhungana, Chief of Police Circle Thimi.
According to the homeowner, the teenage girls had come to live in the house only two weeks ago.
Police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
