Myagdi, April 29: A man killed his wife by attacking her with a wooden stick at Beni municipality-7 in Myagdi district this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Bhagawati BK, 27, of Jaljala rural municipality-3 in Parbat district, currently living at Mangalghat in Myagdi district.
Bhagawati died on the spot when Raju BK hit his wife Bhagawati on the head with a wooden stick over domestic dispute, according to preliminary investigation.
Police Inspector Sagar Poudel said the Bhagawati's body has been kept at Beni Hospital for post-mortem.
Police have started investigation into the case by arresting Raju from Jyamrukkot community forest at Beni municipality-2.
