Mother And Three Kids Consume Poison; Kids Die, Mother Critical

Janakpurdham, April 22: Three minors have died while their mother is battling to survive in a suspected act of mass suicide in Yadukuha of Sahidnagar Municipality-5, Dhanusha.

Sushil Sah's six-year-old son Aditya, four-year-old daughter Aakriti, and two-year-old daughter Aaruti died after reportedly consuming poison. All three died on the spot while their mother Pabitra Sah is undergoing treatment with ventilator support at the Janakpurdham Provincial Hospital.

The incident took place last night, where the three children died on the spot, while the mother was rescued to be taken to the hospital, shared District Police Office Chief and Senior Superintendent of Police Bhuvaneswar Tiwari.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
