Resham Chaudhary, convicted in the Tikapur case of Kailali and serving a life sentence at Dillibazar Jail, has been released.
President Ramchandra Paudel granted him amnesty on the occasion of Republic Day.
Following his release, Chaudhary went to the minister's apartments and then to Maitighar to speak with his supporters.
