President Confers Honors, Decorations, Titles to 728 individuals

Article 277 of the Constitution has the provision that the President shall confer titles, honors, and decorations on behalf of the State

President Ramchandra Paudel today decorated 728 people from various walks of life with various honors, decorations, and titles amidst a special ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhawan Sheetal Niwas.

The President conferred the Nepal Ratna, Rastra Gaurav award, Suprasiddha Prabal Janasewa Shree, Prasiddha Prabal Janasewa Shree, Sukirtimaya Rastradeep, Suprabal Janasewa Shree, Kirtimaya Rastradeep, Prabal Janasewa Shree, Rastradeep, and Jana Sewa Shree to 728 individuals.

The people receiving decorations were announced on the occasion of Constitution Day on September 19, 2022. They were businesspeople, culture experts, artists, social workers, athletes and coaches, civil service employees, Nepal Army personnel, physicians, and foreign nationals.

Article 277 of the Constitution has the provision that the President shall confer titles, honors, and decorations on behalf of the State.

Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', House of Representatives (HoR) Speaker Devraj Ghimire, and National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina were present on the occasion.
