Yuvraj Paudel (Safal) has petitioned the Supreme Court to overturn the judgment not to prosecute Rabi Lamichhane, the head of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), in the passport case.

Paudel petitioned the Supreme Court, claiming that Lamichhane, the chairman of RSP, was wrongfully acquitted on the charge of passport misuse.

The writ petition requests that the Attorney General's Office's decision not to prosecute Ravi be reversed and that an order be issued to investigate and prosecute him. The preliminary hearing on the writ petition has been scheduled for Tuesday.

Paudel had earlier filed a petition contesting Lamichhane's status as a member of parliament, and the Supreme Court, after hearing the case, ruled in his favor.
