Dengue, Coronavirus Infection Recures in Kavrepalanchowk

Dengue and coronavirus infections have resurfaced in Kavrepalanchowk after months of absence. After three months, seven people were infected with the coronavirus.

The coronavirus was detected in Banepa Municipality-3, Panauti Municipality-2, and Namobuddha Municipality-2. 18 samples were tested for COVID-19, which resulted in seven persons testing positive in the district.

Similarly, dengue fever reappeared after five months. The District Health Office reported that a 51-year-old lady from Panchkhal 3 had been diagnosed with dengue. She has been undergoing therapy at home while being monitored by a health professional.

Purushottam Sedhai, chief of the district health office, stated that health personnel were on high alert to inform the public.

According to Sedhai, the patient has a high temperature, a severe headache, joint discomfort, rashes, nausea, a stomach ache, and bleeding gums.
