The Rastriya Prajatantra Party's (RPP) Central Work Execution Committee has decided not to vote in the next vice presidential election on March 17.
According to RPP leader Rajaram Shrestha, the decision was made at the party headquarters in Dhumrabarahi to remain neutral in the election.
The RPP also requested that the government reverse its decision to reduce the subsidy provided to farmers for chemical fertilizer, make arrangements for the timely supply of fertilizer, and begin the process of establishing a fertilizer industry in the country as a long-term solution to chemical fertilizer.
The meeting also brought the government's attention to the importance of promptly limiting bank interest rates.
