Saurya Airlines' aircraft has caught fire while attempting to take off from Tribhuvan International Airport this morning.
Nepal police spokesperson Dan Bahadur Karki informed that the plane scheduled to fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara met with an accident.
The aircraft carrying 19 passengers including crew members skidded off the runway and fire broke out suddenly.
Efforts are underway to extinguish the fire.
