Saurya Airlines Crash Update: Captain Rescued, Rushed To Hospital

The 37 years old captain Manish Shakya has been rescued from the location where the Saurya Airlines aircraft crashed.

He has been rushed to KMC Hospital  Sinamangal for treatment.

According to the airport office, the plane carrying 19 people, including crew members, slipped on the runway during takeoff on Wednesday morning.

The plane caught fire due to the accident. Firefighters and security personnel from all three agencies are putting in efforts to contain the fire.

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has reached the airport to get details about the disaster.
