Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the government is working on improving economic indicators.
Prime Minister Dahal stated that the government is working to improve economic statistics while inaugurating the 24th annual meeting of the Federation of Contractors Association Nepal in Kathmandu on Sunday.
He claimed that the government has foreign reserves sufficient to finance imports of goods and services for more than ten months and that the economy, which has been in crisis, is on the repair.
Prime Minister Dahal stated that the government's objective is to accelerate capital investment by cutting superfluous costs.
Similarly, he said the government is concentrating on boosting the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure's spending and making timely payments to builders. Prime Minister Dahal further stated that after consulting with the relevant institutions, he has provided the necessary instructions to cut the bank's interest rate.
