Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has directed the officials to solve the challenges associated with revenue collection.
While discussing with officials at the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers, the Prime Minister urged to focus on revenue collection and its challenges.
'Looking at the overall state of the economy, most of the indicators are positive. The economy has gradually improved since last December. However, this does not suggest that the economy is crisis-free. There are still some problems related to revenue collection. It is necessary to work on leakage control and systematic revenue collection simultaneously,' the Prime Minister said.
In the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel informed that he has given instructions to break the chain of possible collusion in the areas of revenue collection and leakage.
