President summons a session of Federal Parliament

The session of the House of Representatives has been called for January 9.

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has called the session of the HoR to be held on  January 9 at 1 pm, on the recommendation of  meeting of the Council of Ministers.

There is a constitutional provision that the President summons the session of the House of Representatives on the recommendation of the government.
