KP Sharma Oli has been elected as the President of the CPN-UML during the party’s 11th general convention.
Securing the post for a third term, Oli defeated his contender, Ishwor Pokharel, by a substantial margin.
Oli received 1,663 votes, while Pokharel garnered 564, giving Oli a decisive lead of 1,099 votes.
