The District Administration Office, Surkhet has instructed the concerned bodies for closing down all the quarries operating illegally in the district.
“We direct for prompt closure of crusher industries found operating without license, registration, renewal and those established for the causes of specific projects which have already ended,” directed the press note released on Friday by the DAO.
Local bodies and security bodies have been urged to monitor the operation of illegal industries and contribute to shut them. The DAO also warned of stern action if the order was violated.
