
Bhaktapur, March 6: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has taken the lead in the preliminary vote tallies in both constituencies of Bhaktapur.
According to the latest updates released by the District Election Office, RSP candidate Rukesh Ranjit is leading in Bhaktapur-1 with 3,452 votes, while Prem Suwal of Nepal Workers and Peasants' Party (NWPP) has obtained 1,982, and Kiran Neupane of the Nepali Congress (NC) is in third position with 519 votes.
Similarly, in Bhaktapur-2, RSP candidate Rajiv Khatry is leading the tally with 2,000 votes, while CPN (UML) candidate Mahesh Basnet has obtained 1,281, and Kabir Rana of the Nepali Congress has secured 174 votes.
