Kathmandu, March 31: The Federal Parliament Secretariat has summoned an all-party meeting on Wednesday in view of the Parliament session scheduled for Thursday, April 2.
The meeting has been scheduled to start at 1:00 pm, and all parties represented in the Parliament have been invited to attend, according to Parliament Secretariat Spokesperson Eakram Giri.
President Ramchandra Paudel has summoned a joint session of the Federal Parliament for 2:00 pm on April 2, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers on March 30.
The first session of Parliament since the election to the House of Representatives (HoR)-2026 is expected to proceed with the election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
The HoR comprises six political parties recognized as national political parties.
