
Damauli (Tanahun), Dec 11: Bhimad Municipality has decided to provide a subsidy of Rs 10 per litre to dairy farmers.
A decision has been made to provide a subsidy of Rs 10 per liter to farmers as per the Milk Production Based Incentive Program Operation Procedure, 2082 BS, said Mayor of Bhimad, Dadhiraj Subedi.
An agreement has been reached between the municipality and Bhimad Agricultural Enterprise Cooperatives for the same. As per the agreement, Bhimad Agricultural Enterprise Cooperatives will provide the amount to the dairy farmers.
Meanwhile, the municipality has also fixed the price of milk. From Bhadra 1 to mid-Magh, the purchase price has been fixed at Rs 110 per liter, the wholesale price at Rs 120 per liter and the retail price at Rs 130 per liter.
Similarly, from Falgun 1 to mid-Shrawan, the purchase price has been fixed at Rs 115, the wholesale price at Rs 130 and the retail price at Rs 140.
