Bajura, Nov 30: An earthquake tremor was felt at 12.09 pm today in Bajhang. The earthquake monitoring centre in Surkhet said that the earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale had its epicentre around Saipal Himal in the neighbouring district of Bajhang.
The tremor has also shaken Bajura. Local people were panicked due to the earthquake. Earthquakes have started occurring frequently in the western region.
Mountainous districts like Bajura, Bajhang and surrounding areas of Sudurpaschim Province are at risk of earthquakes.
The District Administration Office, Bajura has urged everyone to take precaution.
