
Chief of Army Staff (CoAS) Ashokraj Sigdel has appealed to the protesters to seek a peaceful resolution through dialogue.
“We appeal to the protesting group to halt protest programmes and come forward for dialogue for a peaceful way out to the nation,” Sigdel said in a video address.
CoAS Sigdel has also expressed sorrow over loss of lives and public properties in course of demonstration and expressed condolences to the families in grief.
He emphasized that protests must not endanger national heritage, public and private property, the safety of citizens, or the security of foreign diplomatic missions, and he called on all citizens to uphold patriotism, social harmony, and unity in moving the nation forward together.
