
Altogether eight protestors died while receiving treatment in the National Trauma Centre. Of them, identity of five people was confirmed.
According to the Centre, the deceased are Shreeyam Chaulagain, 19, and Sulav Raj Shrestha, of Global College; Buddhi Tamang of Kritipur; Stop Adhikari and Gaurav Joshi of Banasthali, Kathmandu. Sulav Raj is from Banke district.
Chief Medical Superintendent of Centre, Dr Badri Rijal, shared that identity of others is not confirmed so far.
He added that 56 injured ones are being treated in the National Trauma Centre.
A total of 19 people were killed across the country during the Gen-Z protests held on Monday and 347 others have been injured, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
