Police Identify Woman Found Dead In A Suitcase In Rautahat

The dead body of a woman discovered inside a suitcase in Rautahat has been identified.

Police have confirmed that the body is that of 26-year-old Rubi Kumari Sah, a resident of Mahadevpatti, Madhav Narayan Municipality-6, Rautahat.

According to police, Sah was married in Muzaffarpur, India, but was currently raising her child in a rented home in Mahadevpatti, Gaur Municipality 2.

Locals contacted the police after discovering the suitcase in a questionable condition on the Gaur-Pipara road section at around 9 pm on Saturday. The Nepal Police and Armed Police Force were mobilized at the scene throughout the night.

Authorities have informed that investigation into the incident is underway.
