
Kathmandu, June 25: The police have arrested a fake examinee at the Public Administration Campus located in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14 today, while he was appearing in the MPA programme third semester examination.
The one who was arrested is 26-year-old Keshav Rokaya, originally from Chandannath Municipality-8, Jumla and currently residing in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-4, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Apilraj Bohora, the spokesperson for the District Police Range Kathmandu.
DSP Bohora said, "The arrest was made based on the letter received from the Public Administration Campus stating that Keshav was appearing in the examination the behalf of Dan Bahadur Rokaya who is studying at that campus. Necessary investigation and actions will be forwarded against the culprit accordingly."
Spokesperson Bohora mentioned that the District Administration Office of Kathmandu has extended the remand period for investigation regarding the fake examinee who was arrested for committing an offense under the Education Act.
