Kathmandu, May 4: The price of gold in the domestic market is Rs 184,100 per tola (11.66 grammes) today, the first day of the week's trading, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association. The price of the yellow metal was Rs 188,100 per tola on Wednesday.
The price of silver is Rs 1,910 per tola today. It was Rs 1,965 per tola on Wednesday.
Gold is trading at Rs 3,241 US Dollars per ounce in the international market, the Federation said. It is said the price of gold and silver has somewhat decreased due to the India-Pakistan animosity and the US-China trade confrontation.
