
Kathmandu, April 29: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case against nine persons, including chief administrative officer on charge of corruption on construction of an agricultural road at Dhankaul rural municipality, Sarlahi.
CIAA registered the case at Special Court, accusing chief administrative officer Krishnamohan Prasad Sah, engineer Upendra Prasad Sah, assistant Mohamad Rafiq, sub-engineer Sashinjan Kumar Singh of claiming recovery of Rs 779 thousand from them.
Also accused of involvement in the corruption were accountant at the local level, and chairman, secretary and treasurer of a consumer committee, according to Rajendra Kumar Paudel, spokesperson at CIAA.
