
Kathmandu, Dec 26: The health condition of a patient infected with monkeypox (Mpox) is improving.
A 36-year-old man from Tanahun has been undergoing treatment at Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital after he tested positive for the infectious disease.
Hospital's director Yuvanidhi Basaula informed that the health condition of the patient is improving.
He further said that those infected with monkeypox have to be treated in isolation or at least three weeks.
The man who came from Saudi Arabia was confirmed to be infected with monkeypox on December 20. He has been under treatment at the hospital since the same day.
