The Netherlands has defeated Nepal by 6 wickets in the ICC Men's T-20 World Cup cricket tournament.
Nepal set a target of 107 runs, which the Dutch team brought down in 18.4 overs with 6 wickets remaining in their T20 World Cup Group D match at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas on Tuesday.
Max O'Dowd scored an unbeaten 54 to lead the Netherlands to a six-wicket win against Nepal.
O'Dowd's patient knockoff of 48 balls sent the Dutch home safely, finishing on 109-4 off 18.4 overs.
Whereas, Nepal was limited to 106 all out following the Netherlands' disciplined bowling effort. Openers Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh, as well as middle-order batsmen Kushal Malla, Dipendra Singh Airee, and Sompal Kami, all fell short of double figures.
Anil Kumar Sah, Gulshan Jha, and Karan KC scored 11, 14, and 17 runs, respectively, but they were insufficient.
Nepal will play its second match against Sri Lanka in Florida of the US on June 11.
